STARRING: TED DANSON

Becker was an American situation comedy that originally aired on CBS from 1998 to 2004. It is set in The Bronx, a borough of New York City, which starred by Ted Danson as the title character Dr. Becker, a talented doctor that operates a small clinic along with his assistant Margaret Wyborn and Linda. Dr. Beaker has this complex characters that is easily irritated by a situation like a flickering street lamp, noisy neighbors, the couple having very loud sex just above his apartment, or his countless failed attempts to quit smoking. As a result of his outspoken nature, Becker is inaccessible to most people that do not know him. His patients and friends are nonetheless loyal, because Becker portrays a kind-hearted side that shows that, despite his cantankerous personality, he really does care about them. The show tackled more serious issues as well, such as race, homosexuality, AIDS, Cerebral AVM, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and political correctness.

Ted Danson (Cheers) starred as Dr. John Becker, a dedicated and talented physician with a gruff exterior. Unfortunately, his interior wasn't all that warm and fuzzy either. While he offended those around who try to get close to him, he was extremely dedicated to his medical practice in the Bronx where he always went the extra mile to help those in need.

What an amazing DVD Set for the Becker Fan!

Becker is famous American television sitcom which was all time favorite show and it is loved by a large number of people. This TV show started airing on the CBS channel and it ran from November 2, 1998 to January 28, 2004 for 6 seasons and 129episodes. John Becker was the main character of the TV series Becker. Ted Danson was the actor who played the most important character of John Becker in the whole TV series. In the series John Becker is a doctor who keeps on about his everyday work treating and helping his patients. One thing which is really strange about John Becker is that he gets annoyed by everybody in the world whether they are his friends, his family, his co-workers, his patients or any other stranger. Despite all his annoyance John’s friends are very faithful to him and one thing about Becker is that he still cares about the people he knows.

This TV series was produced by Paramount Television Network. John Becker was a student from the Harvard University who now lives in a neighborhood where he is also doing medical practice. He badly dislikes if the children of the area start to make a lot of noise even a flickering lamp can also irritate him a lot. He is also a smoker and another thing that causes him to get annoyed is when he was not able to quit smoking even though he made many attempts at different points of time. John got married two times but for both the times it didn’t work well and resulted in divorce as well. When it comes to politics he was really open minded about it but he disliked fair political process. He was a nonbeliever and had odd thoughts about God. He was a very kind person and he always showed kindness towards the people he knew.

Some of John’s patients were poor and they used to offer him baseball games tickets because they couldn’t afford John’s fee and John Becker used to accept them happily as gifts. A few people such as his nurse and office manager can’t stand John because of his strange behavior.
